I’ve finally received all my study material.
I’m registered for the following modules for which I have to buy textbooks.
(1) Davis D, Cassim F, Geach W, Mongalo T, Butler D, Loubser A, Coetzee L & Burdette Maatskappye en ander besigheidstrukture in Suid-Afrika (2009) Oxford
(2) Pretorius JT, Delport PA, Havenga MK & Vermaas M Student case book on business entities (2004) 3rde uitg Juta
Heaton J South African Family Law 3 ed (2010) LexisNexis Durban
Currie I en de Waal J The Bill of Rights handbook 5de uitgawe (2005) Juta.
Christo Botha Wetsuitleg: ’n Inleiding vir studente (2005) 4de uitg Juta Kaapstad.
From what I’ve heard it is not really necessary to buy a textbook for FUR2601. I’ve bought textbooks in the past and some I’ve hardly touched, I don’t want to make the same mistake again.
If anyone who has done any of these modules could please advise me which are necessary and which they didn’t use.
I would really reccommend your buying the textbook for PVL2601, but wrt to FUR2601, Adv. Shaik mentioned to us in the discussion class that the Study Guide was all that necessary for us to pass this module. I did buy the BOR Handbook and used it for my second assignment, for which I received a very good mark. However, I used the Study Guide only when preparing for the exam and still got a distinction.
